Sonoff Basic Smart Wi-Fi Switch
It is a WiFi switch that can connect with various devices over the network, and you can control everything remotely: activate or deactivate the connected devices, wherever you are and at any time.

Sonoff Basic is a completely autonomous WiFi switch, that is, it does not require other devices that act as a ‘bridge’, and is compatible with practically all voice assistants and smart speakers in circulation today. Directly with Alexa and Google Assistant, then Google Home.

Being compatible, through the eWeLink application, also with the free IFTTT web service, it consequently makes it compatible with Siri (via Shortcuts: the “Commands” application in Italy), and with Cortana.

The device is a small compact box where on the sides there are terminals where to insert the two wires of the Phase and of the Neutral, Input where to insert the 2 cables of the Plug or directly the home network, and Output from which to connect the 2 cables to the device or lamp and lights that are.

Once connected with due care, the configuration is automatic through the eWeLink application.

After having successfully “paired” and configured the Sonoff, the switch can be turned on and off via the eWeLink application.

Once you have verified the operation of the switch, you can configure it with the other services for compatibility with Google Home, Alexa or other.
